The Problem:
The walkers bridge suffered from deteriorating concrete, unstable at certain areas.
Since the bridge stands over a busy highway, rehabilitation work needed to be quick and at night-time, in order to minimize traffic disruption.
The Solution:
All concrete surfaces were sprayed with MCI-2020, which stopped the concrete’s deterioration without delaying reconstruction work.
Delaminated, unstable concrete was removed, more rebars were added where necessary and safety bar was renewed.
